The goal of R.E.S.E.T is to improve the lives of young adults and promote public safety by providing a continuum of evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies. The core components of the program design are based on our S.I.N.C.E.R.E approach which utilizes a wraparound approach to providing rehabilitative intervention strategies.
This program is designed as a work study program where our young adults will receive job training and development skills by our community partner Workforce Solutions. TFT collaborates with Workforce Solutions on exposing young adults to employment and training opportunities. In addition to employment training and placement, young adults will receive entrepreneurship training designed to teach them how to create t-shirts and promotional products.
The R.E.S.E.T Program is supported by the Youth Justice Community Reinvestment Fund – Youth and Family Development Grant Program to Address Disparities in the Juvenile Justice System) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $317, 275.95 with 100% funded by Harris County Commissioner’s Court.
